Waiting for B.T.
Art's Description
About this painting
This picture was inspired by the agonising wait for British Telecom to repair my telephone.
A surreal abstract picture. A crying face can be seen on the left, holding a telephone. An arm, transformed into a caterpillar, reaches along a distant sloping horizon. A clear centre of perspective adds a sense of depth, and the colours fade into grey as they move towards that point to represent the decay of waiting and waiting, and waiting.
Painted Sep 2006 to Mar 2007.
